Finiby is a personal finance app for iPhone. Type or speak a short description to add an expense or income. Finiby fills in the details and shows where your money goes.

The iPhone app requires iOS 18 or later.

Sign in with Apple or Google. There is no separate password to create or remember.

Finiby is available on the App Store. Tap any Download on the App Store button on this website to install it on your iPhone.

Type or say something like “coffee 4.50” and Finiby fills in the amount, currency and category. You can also add a transaction manually and choose every field yourself.

Finiby reads your description and checks it against your categories, including categories you created. It then chooses the one that fits best. You can change it at any time.

Just open the transaction and edit it. Every field stays fully editable after the AI has done its part.

Yes. You can create, rename and delete categories for expenses or income. Finiby also uses them when it categorizes new transactions.

The free plan includes 5 AI categorizations each month. The counter resets monthly. Manual transactions are unlimited and Finiby Pro removes the AI limit.

Partly. Transactions, categories, summaries and profile details you already loaded remain available offline. Text and voice captures are saved on your device and sent in order when you reconnect. Editing, deleting, analytics and manual entry need an internet connection.

Quick Add lets you record a transaction through Siri, the Action Button, Back Tap or the Shortcuts app without opening Finiby first.

On an iPhone with an Action Button, open Settings and choose Action Button. Swipe to Shortcut and select Quick Add. Press and hold the button whenever you want to add a transaction.

In the Shortcuts app, create a shortcut with the “Quick Add to Finiby” action. Then open Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap. Choose Triple Tap and pick your shortcut. A triple tap on the back of your iPhone will then run Quick Add.

Yes. Say “Hey Siri, add an expense to Finiby” and then describe it, for example “coffee 4.50”.

Quick Add is a Finiby Pro feature because every capture uses AI categorization. Free users can still add manual transactions without a limit and use their 5 monthly AI categorizations inside the app.

Line charts show how your spending and income change over time. Category charts show the total and share for each category.

Yes. Choose a default currency and record transactions in any of the 125 supported currencies.

The free plan includes unlimited manual transactions, 5 AI categorizations each month and all current analytics. You can sign in with Apple or Google. CSV export is a Finiby Pro feature.

Finiby Pro adds unlimited text and voice AI categorization plus Quick Add through Siri, Shortcuts, Back Tap and the Action Button. It costs $4.99 a month or $44.99 a year. The yearly plan saves about 25%.

Finiby Pro is billed through the App Store. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name and choose Subscriptions. You can manage or cancel Finiby Pro there. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Your transactions and categories stay in your account. When Pro ends, your account returns to the free plan and its monthly AI limit.

You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides whether a purchase is eligible based on its rules and your country or region.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with providers we need to run Finiby. You can read the details in our Privacy Policy.

Finiby sends voice input to OpenAI for transcription and categorization. The app and our backend do not keep the recording after it is processed. If you record something offline, it stays on your device until it can sync.

CSV export is a Finiby Pro feature. Open your Profile and choose Export Data to download all your transactions as a CSV file — you need an internet connection. If you are on the free plan and want a copy of your data, email support@finiby.app and we will send you one free of charge.

Yes. Open Profile, then Privacy & Legal, and turn off Share Usage Data. Analytics only ever record which screens and features you use — never your transaction details — and turning the setting off stops collection and detaches your existing analytics profile.

Open your Profile and choose Delete Account. Your account and transaction data are removed from active systems right away. We may keep limited records when needed for security, legal or operational reasons. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel Finiby Pro through Apple first.
