Just open the transaction and edit it. Every field stays fully editable after the AI has done its part.

Yes. You can create, rename, and delete custom categories for both expenses and incomes, and the AI will use them when categorizing new transactions.

The free plan includes 5 AI categorizations every month, and the counter resets monthly. Manual transactions are always unlimited. Finiby Pro removes the AI limit entirely.

Yes. Your recently loaded transactions and profile stay available without a connection, and AI captures you type while offline are queued and synced automatically — in order — once you are back online. Editing, deleting, and analytics need a connection.

Quick Add lets you log a transaction without opening the app — through Siri, the Action Button, Back Tap, or the Shortcuts app. Capture the expense the moment it happens, in a couple of seconds.

Open Settings, choose Action Button, swipe to Shortcut, and select Quick Add. From then on, press and hold the Action Button to log a transaction.

In the Shortcuts app, create a shortcut with the “Quick Add to Finiby” action. Then open Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap, choose Triple Tap, and pick your shortcut. A triple-tap on the back of your iPhone will then open Quick Add.

Yes. Say “Hey Siri, add an expense to Finiby”, then dictate the details — for example “coffee 4.50”.

Quick Add is a Finiby Pro feature, since every capture uses AI categorization. Inside the app, free users can still add transactions manually without limits and use their monthly AI categorizations.

Line charts show how your spending and income change over time, and donut breakdowns show each category with its own color, total, and share — so your habits are easy to understand at a glance.

Yes. Set your default currency in the app and log transactions in any of 100+ supported currencies — useful for travel, mixed income, or local spending.

Unlimited text and voice AI categorization, Quick Add from Siri, the Action Button, and Back Tap, plus priority access to new features. Pro costs $4.99 per month or $44.99 per year (about 25% cheaper).

Finiby Pro is billed through the App Store. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and manage or cancel Finiby Pro there. If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

Nothing is lost. All of your transactions, categories, and analytics stay exactly as they are — you simply return to the free plan limits.

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through them: visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Your data is yours. We never sell it, and we share it only with the service providers needed to run Finiby. Read the full details in our Privacy Policy.

Voice input is processed temporarily to categorize your transaction and is never stored permanently.

In-app CSV export is coming soon. Until then, email privacy@finiby.app and we will send you an export of your data.

You can permanently delete your account and all of your data any time from the Profile screen in the app. Deletion takes effect immediately.
